  • Horizons Homeschool Co-op
    Horizons Homeschool Co-op is a an inclusive co-op of homeschool parents. We meet in Gaithersburg for the purpose of providing fun, creative activities and classes so our children can celebrate the adventures of learning and exploring their world together.
  • Montgomery TORCH
    A private support group for members of the group Teaching Our Own Roman Catholic Homeschoolers, with most activities based in Montgomery County.
  • Maryland Homeschoolers Facebook Group
    Maryland Homeschoolers is the largest private social media group for Maryland homeschoolers. With 5,000+ statewide members, the group is hosted as a safe, inclusive, and diverse community for sharing resources and asking questions about homeschooling.
  • Maryland Homeschool Associations Facebook Page
    The MDHSA Facebook page serves as a public platform for sharing homeschool-specific community-based events. The page also announces legislative and regulatory updates and calls-to-action. You can join the MDHSA Facebook page - OR follow the MDHSA Twitter feed @MD_Homeschool.
  • Bowie Crofton Homeschoolers
    An email list and secular support group for homeschoolers in the Bowie/Crofton area of Maryland. The group is open to anyone, regardless of race, creed or orientation. It is a place for to share ideas and thoughts on homeschooling and anything of interest.
  • Prince George's Home Learning Network
    An email, support, and networking group for homeschooling families and those families considering homeschooling. PGHLN is a diverse and inclusive group and subscribes to no specific philosophical, religious, or educational beliefs.

D.C. and Northern Virginia

  • Culture at Home
    Culture at Home is an African American homeschool support group in the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia area with an emphasis on the older homeschooled student and for families concerned with the healthy well-being and academic guidance of their African-American child.
  • HomeschoolActivities-VA-DC-MD
    We offer information about activities, classes, events, and field trips for homeschool families and visitors to the Washington, D.C., area including Maryland and Virginia suburbs and points beyond. Members are welcome to post related information, but this is not a discussion board. Please be respectful of differences in homeschooling methods, political and religious beliefs.
  • Sankofa Homeschool Community
    Sankofa is a community of homeschooling families of color who want to grow, learn, and build together. We are dedicated to creating a rich, supportive homeschool village through a combination of social outlets, field trips, and the sharing of resources. We are a local support group for the Metro D.C. area. Sankofa has members in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and as far north as Baltimore. We are religiously diverse and our members use a variety of homeschooling methods.
