Maryland Homeschool Association believes that local families understand their homeschooling rights and needs best. Advocacy efforts should be rooted and locally led by the communities directly effected by the outcomes.
MDHSA does not endorse any specific homeschool legal association. We offer this list as a resource to families who may feel the need for additional legal assistance. MDHSA respects the work that each organization has undertaken, as it relates specifically to homeschooling. As with all other groups, officials, and organizations, MDHSA is happy and willing to work collaboratively with any of the legal organizations that understand and respect the inclusive principles under which we operate.
