We provide a quarterly newsletter to member families and groups, offer a discount for membership in the Home School Legal Defense Association , and we host an annual curriculum fair, symposiums, workshops, and other events.

This Facebook group is a supportive environment for any UNSCHOOLING family in the state of Maryland (or moving here). As unschoolers, we’ve experienced the frustration of not being understood and heard, so we are going to try to keep this group as comfortable as possible for our members by asking that the group be limited to UNSCHOOLERS in the state of Maryland or families seriously contemplating unschooling here in the next year or so.

Most general questions about unschooling or homeschooling in Maryland can easily be asked in one of many other groups, and a more focused group of members here will allow unschooling families to feel like they can share things that may not make sense or may be misunderstood in other settings. Thank you for understanding! We are not trying to exclude anyone but are trying to be the best group possible for a very small demographic.

This is a group open to all homeschoolers on the Eastern Shore (MD or DE). Most of our families have Christian values but we welcome families of all beliefs. We do not have chapel or Bible study times but have optional crafts on some holidays with a Christian theme. We meet weekly for phys. ed, outdoor activities, art, service projects, life skills like cooking and sewing, holiday parties, and monthly field trips!
