Parent Support Groups

This secular Facebook group was created specifically for homeschoolers in Maryland who, for whatever reason, have an alternative schedule and are unable to attend daytime events during the week. Maybe you are a one car family and the car is used for work during the week...maybe you'd rather both parents attend field trips....maybe you are a family of night owls and would rather do things later in the day...maybe you like to do structured school work during the day or maybe you use K12 and have to log in during the day...maybe you have a child with special needs who has medical appointments during the week...whatever your situation is, this is the group for you!

A group to give homeschoolers in Anne Arundel County a way to share activities with other local homeschoolers. Participating in fun activities together gives us the opportunity to make connections, build a strong community and support each other.

A nonprofit 501C(3) since 1987, we are committed to the support and promotion of homeschooling families. Our families create a variety of monthly activities and events for all ages and interests.

This Facebook group is for homeschoolers who live in or near Baltimore County who homeschool for other than religious reasons and teach science from a secular perspective. This is a place for us to share resources and to find like-minded folks.

A secular parent support and tutorial group

This Facebook group is a way to get homeschoolers together from ALL over Maryland (and surrounding areas). Many times our field trip opportunities are only shared with people in our "back yard". This is an opportunity to meet new friends, plan more exciting trips and outings, and just have fun!

Free Up is a Facebook homeschool collective that started in homes from parents getting together for the benefit of our youth's development and the building of community. We have evolved to include edutainment events for youth and a formal seasonal weekly learning space with an African STEAM focus (Science Tech Ethics Art Math) and a celebration of a term we have coined: AfroReganics, which is using nature and recycled materials to create and problem-solve.
