Parent Support Groups

A facebook group is designed to help homeschoolers in Montgomery County MD get together and talk about questions, concerns, events, etc. As always, please be respectful of one another as this is a group open to all beliefs.

This Facebook group is for homeschooling families in Maryland who believe in the importance of free play in nature and its value in a child's education. We hope to unite families in exploring and understanding our natural surroundings. We seek to build a homeschooling community that inspires curiosity, and empowers children to recognize and pursue their individual passions, while providing fellowship and encouragement for one another.

NCHE is a support group for families in Maryland who have an interest in home education. Most of our meetings are in the northern part of Anne Arundel County, but membership is open to everyone.

Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots provides young people with the knowledge, tools and hopeful inspiration to improve the environment and the quality of life for people and animals.

The mission of the Southern Maryland Homeschool Community (SMHC) is to provide a network and support structure for Southern Maryland homeschoolers in a safe, loving and family-centered environment. SMHC is dedicated to fulfilling this mission by organizing supportive activities including social gatherings, field trips, cooperative classes, enrichment activities, special interest clubs, excursions and parent activities. SMHC also informs area homeschoolers about other inclusive homeschool classes and events offered by area organizations.

We are an inclusive group of homeschoolers in and around Wicomico County, Maryland. All homeschoolers are welcome regardless of personal or educational philosophy. All members are encouraged to share local events that may be of interest to homeschoolers, as well as create events for others to attend.
